For now my life is pretty boring. My most stressful week would be last week with all the quizzes, tests, and papers that I had due. Right now, pretty much the only thing I am really worried about is the SAT I am going to take in about two weeks. I did not prepare as much as I should have. I want to get a good score so I do not have to take it again. Then in April I will be taking the ACT which will also be not too fun. Just like most of my school weeks I try to take things day by day and hope I will be able to get through the week. The weekend was probably one of my most eventful ones other than Sunday. From Friday I was able to go see the school musical then later sleepover at my friend’s house. Then on Saturday I was able to go surfing and have a nice gathering/dinner in Aina Haina with my football teammates.

I think I would rather be the supreme leader of a dystopian society. While a perfect world does sound nice, I feel like it would be really boring. Everything is perfect so there really is no motivation to better yourself or better anything in life. All you have to do is be present and everything around you is perfect. Fun, empathy, humor, a lot of these things all go down to drain when a society becomes “perfect”. However, in a dystopian society while it is not nearly as nice, you can still achieve goals you have for the future. And as the supreme leader I would work hard to make a better future rather than the “perfect” future of a utopia.

If I had the option on whether I could fly or be invisible, I would most likely say fly. Flying to me just seems like such a cool ability to have. Like imagine not having to drive to school or to meet up with your friends. You could just fly there and save all that gas and money and other expenses. Also you would not get stuck in any traffic whatsoever. Another reason I would like flying is because you could avoid many practical dangers. Like if I was ever on top of a building and for some reason it collapsed I would be able to just fly off and land safely so I would not fall to my death. Flying overall is one of my most favorite powers and out of everything I would actually want to have it.

I think I would rather have to cartwheel to exit a doorway. Well for one it provides some sort of daily exercise. By doing enough cartwheels a day I am sure to be ripped eventually. Also cartwheels do look pretty sick. Imagine just walking out of class and seeing someone fly out doing a cartwheel. If that was me watching them, I would be amazed by their skill and ability to do a cartwheel out of any doorway. Lastly I would choose it simply because it is not as embarrassing or flamboyant as announcing their name extremely loudly.

I think my week has been a pretty standard one. Homework, tests, quizzes, it has been pretty simple and pretty boring. It honestly feels like such a long week for some reason. I am not sure why but yesterday I was ready for it to be Friday despite it only being Wednesday. For my argumentative essay I feel a little behind because I switched topics but I do not think it is much to worry about. I am quite the argumentative type even though my family hates it. Overall I am just trying to get through each class one by one until the day is over then repeat. Until finally tomorrow where I can be happy because the week is finally coming to a close. Unfortunately I have also a decent amount of things due tomorrow including physics test corrections, various homework, and the outline for the project. I think it is justified because of the no homework weekend which I am excited for.

One instance when I got in trouble was during elementary school. It was probably around 2nd or 3rd grade during recess. I was trying to be funny during a friendly basketball game. Basketball was the favored game to play at recess and it normally consisted of all the boys playing. When one boy stole the ball from me and was getting a little too physical I pushed him on the ground because I thought it would look funny. Instead I ended up getting snitched on to the teachers by the boy who now had a small cut on his arm and knee and I had to talk to the school counselor. I think it was a fair consequence given that I could have hurt him a decent bit and that it was uncalled for no matter how competitive we were getting.

For me, the most positive aspect of this assignment would most likely be writing out my story. I found it not that difficult to ramble on and on about some random event in my life after I got my topic. The most difficult is encompassing everything I want to say within the guidelines of the word count. In my head I want to tell some elaborate story with emphasis on the symbolism and significance of rice, but my drafts do not exactly reflect that. Another challenge for me was definitely trying to get the topic at first. I do not have extravagant beliefs that sound interesting for me to write or talk about. And overall was something I found quite difficult throughout the beginning of the process.

Question: Would you rather be given tax free, $1,000,000, or would you rather be able to snap and manifest $10? As good as an immediate $1,000,000 sounds, I would much rather take the snap money power. It is actually insane to just show up there forget some money, then snap on key and be able to pay your bill. For example, imagine you are at a restaurant with your friends and for some reason you are forced to pay the bill of $200. However, you forgot your credit card at home and only have enough to pay about half the bill. Instead of having to ask your friends for some loans which you will have to pay back later you can just snap a couple times and have enough money for the bill and the tip. The only downside I could see to this is inflation or something like that because of the bills you create. You may not generate as much money as just taking $1,000,000 straight but the ability to snap and get money on command is a much cooler thing to have.
